 Drilling Backup Material

LC25 Backup material made of MDF

LC25 is a backup material made of MDF (medium density fiber). It is a cheap backup material used for mechanical drilling of printed circuit boards. If you have higher requirements regarding quality we recommend our product PHP (phenolic paper) and MP6 (melamine coated wood fiber plate with high density (HDF)).

MP6 Backup material made of melamine coated HDF

This backup material MP6 consists of a wood fiber plate with high density (HDF). In addition the plate is coated and cured with melamine resin on both sides. The melamine coating guarantees a high surface hardness, which gives a good drilling quality.

  • minimized burr
  • reduced smearing
  • minimized roughness in the hole wall
